The Arawata Hall farmers’ breakfast is a tradition almost as old as the hall itself.
Now in its 41st year, held on the 3rd Saturday in October at 9am, the local farmers, residents and others from surrounding districts gather at the hall to share a hearty breakfast, purchase some amazing local produce, or bid in the auction of donated goods and vouchers.
For many it is the opportunity to discuss the farming year, changes in climate, stock, new trends or to meet newcomers.
If you are new to the area, please come along to meet and greet……enjoy a great brekkie……..buy a sponge or some local goodies…………….we keep it moving and it is usually done and dusted by about 11am. It is our major fundraiser for the year.
