Festival of Small Halls rolls into Poowong East on Saturday, 28 February 2026 with Irish Mythen (CAN/IRE) and Kaurna Cronin.

Opening the show will be Teagan Blackstock! Tegan is a singer–songwriter from Gippsland, Victoria, crafting heartfelt, organic country music with a warm, contemporary edge. Since releasing her debut cover album in January 2022, Tegan has steadily built momentum—dropping her first original single Forever Kinda Love in 2023 and following it with her latest release, Highway, in December 2024
When: BBQ starts 5:30pm, Doors Open 6:30pm, Show Starts 7.30pm. Typical Aussie BBQ, sausages and bread, rissoles and bread = simple. A variety of soft drink and water, but no alcohol sold by the Hall committee. Supplied/sold by members of the Hall committee from 5:30 – 6:30 or BYO picnic.
Poowong East Hall has accessible entry (no ramp required, there are two level entrances) and has accessible bathrooms
(3 restrooms inside the hall, backstage).
