Over the last few years, ceramics has captured people’s hearts. We love clay! More people are taking pottery classes, restaurants are using locally made tableware, galleries are showing ceramic art and artists’ markets are brimming with colourful and quirky ceramic creations.
Australian Ceramics Open Studios 2024 is a national open studio event on November 23rd & 24th. Over 200 potters and ceramic artists across the country will open their creative spaces to visitors.
See how they make their work, find out more about classes and take your time to view their studio with a tea or coffee. You’ll be inspired and grounded all at once, and the magic of the maker’s hand will stay with you in the beautiful work you see or take home.
Come and meet your local potter!
