The family band from West Point, Mississippi play a powerful disco soul, are led by Annie Caldwell on vocals and her husband Willie Joe Caldwell, Sr. on guitar.
Annie is backed by daughters Deborah Caldwell Moore, Anjessica Caldwell and goddaughter Toni Rivers; their eldest son Willie Jr. is on the bass and youngest son Abel Aquirius is on the drums.
Since the release of Can’t Lose My (Soul) [Luaka Bop, Spring 2025] the family has performed in more than twenty countries on four continents, and recently made a star turn on the UK’s preeminent music program Later… with Jools Holland.
