Annalisa is endlessly fascinated by the play of light on water, the shifting coastline, and the grandeur of the sky overhead — especially living on the southern edge of the continent, where weather can be dramatic, changeable, and deeply woven into daily life.
Motif brings together drawings and paintings that explore the visual elements that recur throughout Jennifer Wray’s practice — the shapes, objects and places that return, again and again, as quiet points of focus.
