Physical Action as Thinking Form by Hiroyasu (Hiro) Tsuri (TWOONE) & South Gippsland Creative Youth.
This exhibition will include original artworks from Hiro, plus the canvases created by the participants of the youth creative workshop hosted by Hiro during his time in South Gippsland. We will also be showing a short documentary created by Luke from Seagrass Films that captured Hiro’s time in South Gippsland, including the creative workshop and the creation of the murals on the ArtCubes.
The title of the exhibition comes from Hiro’s approach to creative practice. He believes that art can begin with making a mark; a paint stroke across a canvas, pen on paper; and abstract thinking while creating these marks can lead to a composition that can then be built upon to create a finished artwork. Art can be made by anyone and everyone.
In the Coal Creek Auditorium space from 12 September to 17 November 2025
