As part of the Open Studios Arts Trail through South Gippsland and the exhibition Gathering Time and Place, local contemporary printmaker Jenny Peterson will be demonstrating how to create prints using leaves, grasses and seaweeds using her little Press.

Jenny, who lives and works in Boolarra, is renowned for transforming found objects and natural materials into beautiful monoprints, collagraphs, etchings and nature prints. With works held in major public collections across Australia, Jenny’s practice combines deep technical skill with a spirit of collecting and reclaiming—turning everyday scraps and flora into art that holds memory and meaning.
Drop in anytime between 11am–3pm to see her process up close and be inspired by the way she brings the natural world to life in print.
