The Tarwin Lower Festival (formerly the Tarwin District Community Lifestyle & Automotive Festival) is now in it’s fifth year. The festival is run by a committee made up of the Tarwin District Auto & Machinery Club, the Venus Bay & Tarwin Lower District Men’s Shed, the Venus Bay Angling Club, the Tarwin Lower & District Bowls Club and the Tarwin Football Netball Club.

What began as a car show run by the local auto club and men’s shed has evolved into an exciting family fun day for all ages with an amazing display of classic cars, bikes and trucks, tractor and machinery displays and demonstrations, free kids rides and amusements, live music, market and food stalls and for the first time this year a swap meet. This is a festival run for the community, by the community and relies heavily on local sponsorship and volunteers.

Tarwin Lower Recreation Reserve Oval from 9.00 am to 3.30 pm. Cost: $10 per person (kids under 16 free).

(** Tractor & engine display on the oval on Saturday 1st November – Free Admission)
