Our Wisp Autumn Event is being held 12th of April at the Sandy Point Community Centre. There will be children’s activities and a kid’s session on whales in the morning starting at 11 am.
Our presentations start with the WiSP Habitat Group, who will talk about their new pamphlets, the first is on local weeds and the second is on local plants to grow in your Sandy Point Garden.
We’ll have two special guests. Susi Millton from Tree Project who will talk about the non-profit’s work and how you can get involved. We’ll also have Ella Hutchinson from Dolphin Research Institute offer a presentation on whale watching and the other marine mammals in our area and how people can be involved in citizen science.
