About the artists
This mural is by Hiroyasu Tsuri (TWOONE), Riam Chilver (MOGGIE) and Eileen Tanaka Morrison. This collaboration began with a mentorship for young, local artists Riam and Eileen, led by TWOONE, when they painted a mural for Council’s portable ArtCubes in 2025.
About the artwork
The group were then commissioned to paint this mural as a legacy piece. The elements you see in this artwork came from Leongatha Secondary College Art students, who were asked what reminds them of home. Blue was chosen to complement the rolling green hills of South Gippsland. The many creatures of the composition appear to be travelling through the walkway towards these hills in the distance.
This mural is not just what you see here on the wall, but the development and skill-building of two young, local creatives.
