Inspired by secret coded messages, Magic Lantern have created a cipher alphabet – a series of 26 symbols that can be used in place of our known alphabet – in the hope that the people of Korumburra will send one another letters in code.
The upper line of symbols is largely inspired by the sky and the shorthand which humans have developed to describe objects of a cosmic scale. The lower band of images are more terrestrial in nature. Users of the code can decide which letter correlates to which symbol, enabling top secret communications. What do the symbols mean to you?
