Kongwak, nestled between Inverloch and Korumburra is a tiny town that bursts to life every Sunday with the popular Kongwak Market. A small market with a diverse range of stall-holders, the market has a relaxed, happy atmosphere.
The Kongwak Market is held every Sunday from 10am – 3pm.
There is also a reserve which covers the hill to the back of Kongwak and which has several walking tracks through the stands of tall gum trees. Access is from the road behind the primary school.
Kongwak also boasts a charming town hall and a park with barbecue facilities (next to the tennis courts adjacent to the school).
Kongwak is approx 130 km from Melbourne along the South Gippsland Highway. From the township of Korumburra, turn right onto Radovick St and continue along this street, which turns into Korumburra-Wonthaggi Rd (C437) and brings you to Kongwak.
