Woorayl Golf Club is located within the Leongatha Recreation Reserve in the centre of the small town of Leongatha in South Gippsland. The golf course comprises 9 well laid out holes with some bunkers and water hazards adding to the difficulty.
Regular competition days are Wednesdays (Ladies Day), Thursdays and Saturdays. A 9-hole “Chook Run” competition is held every Thursday during daylight savings. In addition to these there are open competition days throughout the year on most public holidays along with a 5 day Annual Tournament in March each year.
Visitors are very welcome at Woorayl with a modest green fee charged per day, regardless of the number of holes they play. The club itself boasts a proud pennant history in the South Gippsland Disctrict Golf Association with many Pennant Flags decorating the walls of the clubhouse.
