South Coast Community Leadership Program
-THE ARTCUBE PROJECT
The Leadership Program Team’s project centres around local young people and their connection to the place where they live. The Team will be connecting young participants from Bass Coast and South Gippsland with two local artists, Carla van Laar and Evan Olden. Through creative workshops, particiapnts will explore the question of what community means to them, making artworks that reflect identity, connection, and sense of place.
Marianne T. RUFF
-Cloud Makers: From Heaven to Halloween
Marianne is a multiskilled creative with eclectic interests driven by curiosity, playful wonderment and deep passions. Come and see her producing artworks based on the theme, “The Cloud Makers: from Heaven to Halloween” during her residency. Marianne proposes to demonstrate anything from sculpting figures and felting to watercolours, acrylics, oils or portraiture as her creative inspirations dictate.
Rebecca Coulter
-Interlude
Rebecca will exhibit her acrylic paintings and mixed media collage on the ArtCube walls, many of which pay homage to English visionary and artist, William Blake. The space will also function as her temporary studio, and as she creates new works on site, Rebecca invites visitors and passers-by to drop in and say hi, and if they’d like, to spend a few minutes creating their own mini collage artworks, which will be hung alongside her works to contribute to an ever-evolving exhibition.
