Meet the Artists – Trio Arapiles:
Niels Bijl – An Australian-based Dutch saxophonist and one of Australia’s leading creatives. A performing artist, event organiser, chamber music specialist, lecturer, arranger, and band leader, Niels inspires the next generation of musicians.
Matthew Kneale – Bassoonist hailed by The Daily Telegraph as “a new star… who wields his instrument with virtuosic skill and with moves you usually associate with a rock guitarist.”
Yundi Yuan – An Adelaide-based pianist who has performed widely across Australia as a soloist, accompanist, and chamber musician. In this concert, Yundi will bring the Fish Creek Memorial Hall’s grand piano to life.
