Art Connect South Gippsland Open Studios 2026. Across three weekends — 3–4, 10–11 and 17–18 October 2026 — the Art Connect South Gippsland Open Studios invite visitors to explore a unique self-guided art trail stretching from Loch to Agnes.

Visit 80 artists across 24 venues, including studios, galleries and workshops. Meet local makers, watch them at work. Discover paintings, ceramics, photography and sculpture. Perhaps take home a one-of-a-kind piece to remember their stories.

Street Art & Murals: Pack the camera and discover forgotten stories on painted walls. Creativity spills into the streets and every detour can lead to something unexpected.

Many of the older murals in the district are a timeless tribute to the late, very talented Dennis Leversha. Bolder images are featured in the more recent work by Melanie Caple.

For more than three years, the ArtCubes have been bringing creativity to life across South Gippsland. Featuring the work of hundreds of local artists and supported by passionate volunteers, community groups and organisations, the ArtCubes are a celebration of the people, stories and creativity that make the region so special.

In celebration of this achievement, ArtCube artist, Ann-Maree Gentile, has organised an exhibition. ‘Out of the Box’ is taking place at the newly renovated Coal Creek Art Space in Korumburra from the 12 September to 16 November 2026. Exhibition opening, Friday 12 September from 2pm-4pm

Art is in the Landscape. Spring is the perfect time to get out and explore! Take yourself on a scenic adventure along the Great Southern Rail Trail’s Arty Trail. Discover amazing local artworks along the way, soak up the fresh spring air, and enjoy a unique slice of the region’s culture and charm.  Whether you ride, walk or wander, look for the handcrafted wooden carriages purpose made by local Men’s and Women’s Sheds to house the stamps you can collect for your Great Southern Rail Trail Passport.

Coffee and Cake around every corner. Take the scenic route, meander through pretty towns and make time for life’s little pleasures along the way. Search for the perfect country pie at one of the local Eateries, pick up a sweet treat or choose some cheese to enjoy at home… discover the flavours of South Gippsland and beyond.

Drop into one of the many Art Galleries or Exhibitions at Stockyard Gallery in Foster, Leongatha Art and Craft Gallery, Meeniyan Art Gallery or Coal Creek Art Space in Korumburra.
